Items not collected
Including, but not limited to: hazardous waste, roofing material, construction or remodeling done by a contractor, dirt, rock, concrete, hot ashes, tires, batteries, liquid paint, motor oil, solvents, pool chemicals, refrigerant appliances, toxic waste or volatile material, iron and lumber that may damage equipment.
For the neighborhoods of Bentwood, Hidden Springs, King Oaks, Meadow Creek, Millican Reserve, Nantucket, Peach Crossing, Saddle Creek, and Sendera Estates: If you want to recycle, please place your recyclables (in CLEAR plastic bags) out by your container by 7:00 AM every week on your pickup day. Cardboard is to be broken down, flattened, and preferably tied together to ensure it does not get blown around by the wind. Please note that if bags are contaminated with items not accepted, it will be considered trash and thrown away. Also, some areas are collected by the same truck that collects refuse, and, in some cases, will be picked up and staged in designated areas during the trash route to save us time when coming back through to collect recycle. So please do not be alarmed, and take this in to consideration if you see recycle material on the truck during a trash route, or collecting recycle material shortly after a trash route has been ran.
